Re: Did I play terrible?
[ QUOTE ]
I think we all assumed you had 55. As played, just call the river. [/ QUOTE ] yeah |

Re: Did I play terrible?
don't post your opponent's hand in hand history... especially not before posting your own hand. Everyone who replied was confused by your post, just make it pretty like I do and I don't even use a converter.
NL400, 90BB stacks. Hero is in BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (give a read on the player) limps UTG, sb completes, Hero checks. Flop ($11): 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB bets $16, Hero calls $16, UTG calls $16. Turn ($57): 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero bets $40, UTG raises to $80, Hero calls. River ($217): T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG bets $120, Hero raises to $262... (no need to put his final action). Then you can ask your questions. Ah, now I can see what's going on. Fold flop without a read, raise sometimes. You're getting less than 2:1 on the flop to hit a 4:1 shot with terrible implied odds with a player still to act and your draw isn't even to the nuts. As played, I don't bet the turn unless I have a reason to believe a player is going to play for stacks with less than the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], so I play wa/wb (and also I can get a river bet out of a weak diamond this way that may have folded the turn). Villain's play was of course insanely bad, and if you knew that ahead of time, then your play becomes more justified. |
