Dude, there is a million poker blogs with young guys setting out to capture their journey to the stars (JohnnyBeef and Tickner really keept me glued to the screen a year ago or so for example)

Also there are a lot of poker blogs with guys that actually made it !

That is your competition, but until you make it (have you made it ???) there is no story. If you don't make it, then you might have a story if you fail in a spectacular and brutal way.

But until your journey is over, there isn't much to talk about.

First of all, you do not not need to work on your language, grammar and punctuation. Publishers send your book to editors. Do you really think Helmuth has that strong a grip on grammar & spelling?
But, I have to say, like someone else already did, there are many blogs by young cats on the same topic. I have to say that if you can get into a casino, you're not that young by modern standards.
What you should work on, if you want this book to be picked up, is your voice. No, not singing lessons, but your writing voice. Have you ever read a non-fiction book, and think, "Man, this writer is funny." That is because they have a good writing voice. Now, consider the market, or potential buyers of the book. Most people want a book they can relate to, so it would most likely be young poker players. What topics, kinds of anecdotes, and/or strategies would a young poker player wanna read about? I'm thinking you should get a sarcastic sense of humor, complain about old players, describe the "party scene" of poker, and say you had a threesome with Liz Lieu & Jane Gold... yeah his mom.

I am working on writing a book myself. So far I have the page numbers done.
