Re: NL 25 AKs..what does this guy have?
[ QUOTE ]
I wasn't seeing monsters just wondering what the best way to maximize value is...I decided to flat call the flop and reevaluate turn. Here is what transpired.. Flop: ($2.10) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50 Turn: ($9.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB bets $11.50, [/ QUOTE ] I play flop the same and shove now. |

[/ QUOTE ] This just doesn't make sense to me. All you're doing is allowing yourself to get played off the hand. If a heart comes on the turn, for example, and he has KQ and bets out $11, are you going to call? No. You let yourself get bluffed off the hand. Same thing in this situation. A 6 comes. It's essentially a blank. But you don't know what to do. He looks strong, sure, but maybe he just thinks you're weak. Personally, I'm still pushing here, anyways, but I still think you should have raised the flop. |
