Advice: Run through 50k hands more of .5/1, jump on Cardrunners, reevalute after and see where you're at. Having just started playing cash you're prob overlooking some serious leaks

this is a joke post right? 20 buyins is your sensible "ill stop messing around" bankroll lol? is it that hard to play 100NL for one more month until you have 50+ buyins?!

i am subscribed to CR, i think i'm constantly working on my game by dissecting my play. about 20 buyins - i guess i've read to much aba20 posts and I felt ready for NL200, i must say i still do because losing players are far more agressive on higher levels, which brings in the variance and they always seem to have a set when i finally get myself in a good position with them. i guess i'll just have to drop down and rebuild. nothing else to do here.

still waiting for some comparison between NL100/NL200, because i am quite convinced is pretty miniscule.

20 buyins is miniscule. 6 buyin downswings are nothing. OP claims he is beating 100NL handily. if he plays 1-2K hands a day of 100NL he should have 50+ buyins for 200NL in a month or less. perhaps he should try this.

20 buyins is ridiculous, you're not aba. Take seabeast's advice. A month goes by fast and you need it anyway considering how new you are to cash games.

haha, i guess i was wrong at 'knowing' what you're going to say. it seems i didn't have everything cleared up. i did start practicing -3BI session-stop rule here and if i drop under 3$k i'll just call it quits and drop to NL100 for another 20-30k hands. thanks for helpful advice everyone.

I think 30 buyins is tolerable at these levels, so that sounds good. Be aware that a session stop loss doesn't affect your winrate/swings/variance/edge/etc in any way. It might help with tilt though so I don't necessarily think it's a bad idea either.

Anyway. Don't focus on moving up super fast. What you need to make sure is that you're playing well enough to be moving up at all, which isn't a given when you're new to cash games and have only played 60k hands and being up like 2ish ptBB/100?

So, bankroll management seriously and you'll be fine.

Those weird commas in the numbers are confusing me. What is 1,1k$?

PT says: ~3,8PTBB/100 altogether
(NL50 5.5 PTBB/100, NL100 4.8 PTBB/100 , NL200 ~ -2.75PTBB/100) after 70k hands.

1,1k$ = 1,100$
