Re: trickiness preflop leads into a weird river c/r bluff w made hand
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I really don't get preflop, flop or turn at all. Maybe someone can explain why you should do this. Sure, I guess I c/r river to 1100 . In real life I would probably shove because of how much tilt I am on from how I just played the earlier 3 streets. [/ QUOTE ] Garland says Villain only has $1380 left. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: trickiness preflop leads into a weird river c/r bluff w made hand
problem here is: what hands do you have in your preflop range that can be strong on this board? not many jacks (though the triple check is a bit suspicious with a big hand like trips) KT is probably out, too, if you've been playing reasonably.
on the plus side, most weak players have trouble calling a big river c/r with AK or worse here, so its likely to work anyhow. at first I thought that a smaller raise would be just as good with less risk, but I think smaller raises get called more. |

oh come on, like i cant smooth w QJ, AJ, KJ or JJ preflop. thats ridic. would u guys call with AK in villains shoes?
preflop is obv not close to standard. i just dick around like this from time to time. i dont think its a big deal. dont see how flop could be played differently. |

luego posting this in here is useless.
i'll just give you the standard c/r bluff answer for this forum: you're not really representing anything. |

[/ QUOTE ] Aside from the preflop action which is fine to mix it up, I think the hand is played well. It's definitely reasonable that you checked a boat (or trips) 3 times here. I don't think you're getting called by anything less than trips and unless flopped or rivered a boat, he probably doesn't have enough to call you here most of the time. If he's got AK, he's probably folding like >75% of the time. |

I really like river.
He very rarely has sth he is willing to call a push with. Im not 100% sure about the raise size but i dont think that a raise to 1100 makes a lot of difference EV wise. |

First of all, where's the PF reraise? Too hard to define your hand with that flop play. As played, I'd smooth call. You could be looking at AK, QQ, etc.
