Starting more rumors
MC
A few dealers on 2 different shifts said that although nothing has been approved yet they would like to add 8 more tables. MGM They've aparantly got the ability and room to add at least 8 more tables if they need to. I also hear that they have a conference room that will hold 100 tables and they'd like to have tournaments. |

[/ QUOTE ] ignore whether or not the odds of it actually happening, but does the state have any laws that would prevent a WPT/WSOP circuit event from happening downtown? I remember hearing something about there couldn't be a tourney with a buyin above a thousand dollars, but that may have been in Ontario/Windsor. |

Re: Starting more rumors
The casinos in Detroit: I vaguely know where Greektown is, altho when I was growing up there that wasn't what the area was called, unless I'm not thinking of the same place. Which casino is in the old Wonder Bread building and is the MGM in the building just above the last bit of the Lodge before the Jefferson exit? A long time ago I worked there. It was the IRS Data Center at the time.

Re: Starting more rumors
Old IRS center rings a bell, but yes it's located there. MC is the old wonder bread factory.
