I don't think his point is that the games suck. I think his point is that buying in for $150 with no ability to rebuy sucks. You could be there for all of 15 minutes.

Right, but I could come up with a hand where he could triple up and now he's got tons of money.

The whole hand example was pretty pointless to me.

The CNE is on in Toronto. You can play there. Should take about 3 hours to get raked down to the felt. Get down to Niagara Falls and play in a 1-2 NL. While in Toronto keep asking the local "pros" if it's true that Toronto is "just a larger version of Hamilton." Mention that the Leafs Stanley Cup drought from 1967 is still "completely safe and unlikely to be broken prior to 2112" and that if it weren't for their astute planning, "you'd all be staring at that ugly lake rather than this crappy concrete mess."
