I agree that you can get a lot more value out of PP's with a mixed set of lines. That's an important point that gets lost a lot by poeple calling only for set value.
For example, I think that 3-bet line actually is a pretty nice one in the low limits because you get called by bigger PP's than yours who are just calling for set value and will fold too much post flop. Oh doctor. In any case, PP's are a solid money maker. I would say that even though they do win some of your biggest pots, you shouldn't overestimate their overall earn. There are a lot of limp/bet/call/check/fold hands in there that attenuate their value somewhat. |
