Re: 100NL - so lost
if youre gonna call the turn, why arent you leading out. i often lead out here myself. if anyone comes along you can just shutdown barring a J or perhaps another K on the river.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] just calling pf is fine, and certainly much better than sticking 1/6 of your stack in and then having no idea what to do unless you flop a set [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] HU it plays easily. The only time I have no idea wat to do is wen its 4 handed. obviously i was not expecting that. so uhh yeh throw that argument out the window. anyone shove turn? [/ QUOTE ] the thing is if rebuyboy thinks you're squeezing he's going to play back, either by raising or calling to try and outplay you postflop. If he just calls, drooler likely calls too, and then we have this situation. |

Re: 100NL - so lost
How many people bet this flop? I think I would have done that 90% of the time considering the BB is a fish. If I did check the flop though, I would think that the turn card is good and bet it.

Re: 100NL - so lost
arguments about preflop are absolutely retarded and results oriented.... 9/10 this ends up HU, reraised or everyone folding, about 99/1000 it ends up with 3 players in, and 1/1000 times we get this spot with 4 players calling a 16BB raise
not sure about postflop really. yeah honestly im lost... i think i even play this the same. we cant bet the flop, we could possibly shove the turn? |

Re: 100NL - so lost
On the turn you're almost always ahead, unless someone slowplayed a set. You should probably bet out, unless for some reason, you think you'll make more money by inducing bluffs.
I would also raise to something closer to 20. |

Re: 100NL - so lost
I think preflop was fine, although I would have popped it to 20. After the floor fell out (4 way pot), you really need to hit a set. most of the criticism of your play is results oriented. In most instances, you get this heads up, bet flop hard, he has no king and fears AK, you take pot.The 4 way is very unusual and very terrible for your particular hand. That's poker, sometimes.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah after alot of thought I think crai is pretty nice on the turn. rebuyboy never has a King, and BB drooler has a pretty huge range. thoughts on crai? |
