Default Re: NL10 - 5x Pot Overbet Shove on the River and All I\'ve Got is a Boa

Is your avatar lady asking, "Do you want to fight/find me?"

SB has to know fish will call big bets with their draw.

I looks like sb can't read the board and is so happy that everyone checked and let him hit his Ac3s flush.

Or maybe he went for the CR twice and is mad he didn't build a pot.

Maybe he is a 3rd level thinker and knows someone else has the Ac or Kc and will call his massive bet with their flush?

What kind of 7x hands would people call a raise with?

Even fish know 72 is a terrible hand. I don't see someone with 79/99 slow playing 2 streets.

This looks like 22 versus Ac.

I call, hesitate and then fist pump.

That honestly never crossed my mind.

Pretty girl and seems so innocent.

Back on topic -- I never fold a full house if I'm using both my hole cards unless the board is something like AAKK5

if this wouldnt be a raised pot you might be afraid of all kinds of weird stuff like 97, 72 etc..
but in a raised pot you have to call this..

Tough one. OK, the preflop raise should get rid of 72, 79 and 68. Even if it didn't, 72 has to bet the flop to protect their hand and 68 bets the turn for the same reason. 79...possible but without strong prior evidence to the contrary, you can safely assume MP is not that much of a fish.

IMO, one of those all-ins on the river is the Ac. The other's a boat or quads *most* of the time. You're beating one of the boats anyway. Micro-stakes stupidity gives head-scratchingly odd play often enough to make up the rest and give you the odds you need to call.

This site needs bigger font sizes so I can say:

LOL at folding a lot bigger.
