Re: Missed Value w/ 66

[ QUOTE ] If by "raise this flop" you mean "bet this flop", then yes, you should have. If you mean "check-raise this flop" the answer is no. [/ QUOTE ] Aaron, if I open the action here on the flop and get raised by villain, what is my next action? [/ QUOTE ] Against this villain a fold looks ok (classic reverse implied odds), against some loons I'd call down. |

i like here only b/f flop cus pot is so small (4sb) and we have medicore hand. i can try win this pot right now but i dont wanna raise this flop (2sb) to win this small pot (5sb) ok let say we bet flop and villian call turn is non flush blank like 8 what u do bet one more time ? (im afraid to be dominated by upper pocet and RIO) if we bet turn and villian call do we bet busted FD river? its hard hand to me |

Re: Missed Value w/ 66
My intuition is also to lead out on this flop.

Why does RIO apply in this case but not in the case where I lead? |

Before there is any action, you should like your hand. After you get raised, you should no longer like it. 2) If a player is aggressive enough to raise a flush draw in that spot, good for him. However, his raise is going to knock you out of the hand and his equity edge will disappear, and his equity raise will no longer be an equity raise but a semi-bluff. I guess the reason to call it a RIO situation is because now you have a weak hand in a small pot that got too much action. |
