I didn't know this either.
I bet I have cost myself 1k VPP's this year just by leaving before the hand was completed. Possibly closer to 2k+ VPP's the more I think about it. Arrgh. I'm so mad at myself for being so dumb.

Even more importantly, generally the sites write the HH to your hard drive after the hand is completed. I am sure there are many players who leave immediately after losing a big hand and it never gets recorded in PT. I always wait until at least one more hand is completed.

But you have to have put money into a hand to get FPPs. I see no need to wait for the next hand after I open fold utg.
