I just got my reduced juice removed in order to get access to this "Vegas" style teaser.

Basically:

"tie + loser" = TIE. It will be graded as a lost, but you have to contact 5Dimes (if you have "Vegas" style) to change it to a push.

"tie + winner" = TIE.

"winner + loser" = LOSE.

The 2 team tie+winner = push/no action is the same either way.

How often though are you gonna have a tie+loser though? You lose any bonuses besides reduced lines. But the reduced lines don't really matter when you have sites like Matchbook.

I've had "tie + loser" twice last year I think. Anyway, I only signed up for 5Dimes for their teasers. I already have Pinny for reduced juice. Besides 0-cent arbs, I couldn't find too many arb opportunities between 5Dimes and Pinny.

b.s= basic strategy

ties lose teaser = ties+ loss -> overall loss, versus ties tie teaser which is ties + loss -> no action (typical vegas convention)

there are ways to circumvent/make irrelevant the ties/lose rule but in general for beginners it is best to be mindful of the difference..

Well 4 of 6 teams won today.

So of 15 2 team combos lost 9 of them. So a loser on the day.

Off the record I did place a 3 and 4 teamer to see what the odds were on 5Dimes and it was of the first 4 teams on the card today. Those were the 4 winners.

Where is Daliman at anyway? I still am looking forward to this for the reg season.

What do you need Daliman for? Adding and subtracting 6 is pretty simple.

Daliman is a good guy to have around. I enjoy his thoughts and comments during NFL season. I haven't seen him around this forum in a long time and I hope everyone is going well for him still. Do I need another reason kdog or will this do for ya?

I want to do these teasers again this year as they made a very nice profit for me last year. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Unfortunately as a US resident my options are limited I guess. I played at Mansion early last year and finished at Bodog. It looks like the Greek accepts US players, offers a deposit bonus, has E-check as a deposit method and offers the usual odds (10:11 on 2 teams, 9:5 on 3 teams).

Can anyone here tell me if they have done teasers at the Greek, or anything else good or bad I should know about them before signing up there? Any place else I should consider instead?
