Yeah, like Nix says, this is a good flop to "check and see."
**If** there were 3 or less villains, betting out would be correct unless you were very sure the late position villain would bet. **If** the flop were far dryer, betting out would be correct. So, the types of flops that you would like to bet irregardless of the number of villains would be K72r, or K93r, or K85r. The idea is that if you get raised on these sorts of flops, you can fold really easily (consider your PO's though, and the number of outs you have to 2pair or FD), and if you are ahead, your hand is likely to hold up. In OP's flop, the board is sooooo draw heavy, I don't think betting out is ever correct. If your hand is ahead, you've got serious RIO's working for you. If there is a better king out there, he might not allow you to fold by raising because this board would look awfully scary to non-premium Kings. OP, here's your plan for the future. Check and see: if EP or MP bets, just call and re-evaluate the turn. If LP bets, usually raise. |
