This is what probably will happen:

Cop pulls you over. He observes two people moving a lot in the car. Cop calls for heavy backup, suspicious activity. 4 cop cars come. 4 cops with guns ready tell you to slowly and carefully get out of the car and face down on the ground....

....sounds like a good alternative,.

but no speeding ticket!

what do you do when he asks for your registration w. your name and address on it. You are legally required to produce that right?

The point I think is not to not identify yourself, but to create doubt as to who was actually doing the driving when the vehicle was speeding.

yeah i get that, but you are legally responsible for presenting valid insurance and registration. that's separate from indentifying who was driving. so even if you get out of the speeding ticket, you now have a maybe failure to comply or present insurance or whatever.

This is yet another benefit of ghost riding the whip.... if you get pulled over you can rightly claim that in fact NO ONE was driving.

This is an even worse idea then the ol get out of the car and chug a ton of whiskey in front of him so the cop can't prove you were driving drunk trick.

This could work in theory.

The problem is that the cop just lets you off, follows you a half-mile down the road and pulls you over again.

Don't most places have open container laws preventing you from drinking booze on the side of the road?
