ever think about making a 'bluff raise' to like $110 and calling a shove?

[/ QUOTE ]
i sorta like that, but he might view me as too weak-tight to shove over that kind of raise with a draw.

i can't see villian really taking a c/c line here on the turn im thinking he's either c/r or c/f, neither of which we like so i'm checking behind.

Checking and happily calling his river bet.

This is a really interesting hand.

I am generally a wuss in this spot and check behind, call any river bet (vb if checked to obv).

I'm not sure, but think this isn't too terrible.

Generally my feeling is that this sort of very aggro villain is not looking to tangle deepish and OOP against a guy who he may view as weak-tight when that guy is showing strength. He will generally steal whenever possible but back off to real resistance. So when you get AI with him here, either on the flop or the turn, I think he has either a strong draw or you're toast. You are well behind his range when he gets AI with you here IMO.

So generally my strategy would be to look to raise this flop with good draws or monsters (i.e. 2pair+) and very occasionally with air. With a decent but not great made hand I'll try to call him down and punish him for bluffing into my apparent weakness. Of course it sucks when the river is the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] but so be it.

Of course this is very opp dependent and some of these aggro guys will just come after you under all circumstances, in which case raise/call flop or bet/call turn has more merit.

Interesting hand:

If i bet turn i think i have to go with the hand, since the pot is already getting pretty big..

However i think cheking turn is better. Let him smell weaknes and try to bluff you off your hand on the river. With his aggresion factor i think there is a very good chance that he will bet into you with worse hands on the river.
If you bets turn you will get more action when you are behind IMO.
