Sounds to me like he was shoving because he enjoyed bullying and watching everyone else fold, but decided to fold this one time because he couldn't force a fold from UTG or had 7-2 off or whatever. Doubt he was colluding with UTG, if so he wouldn't have been shoving every hand before/after, he'd have been folding in spots where UTG was in the pot.

This crap happens all the time. sucks that it hurt your equity, but BB prolly just happened to have a bottom 25% hand that he can't possibly fathom being a good call.
