Suboptimal? Eh...can't see how the Signature looks worse than Bellagio, but to each his own.

The Sahara has good old fashioned balcony rooms if you want a cheap Strip hotel. You have to ask for them, look like you are not going to jump, and when you ask it might be worth offering 10 bucks or so.

My first thought was balconies had to be -EV for the hotel. Too damn hot most of the year and you don't want your high or low rollers doing a Peter Pan.
