For the record it still plays fine on XBL. Hadn't heard of that though so I guess I'm lucky.

you raise a good point. HDMI would be pretty sweet too

Premiums are going to have HDMI in a month or so: http://picasaweb.google.com/jonathus/Xboxen

The Halo package is pretty much a ripoff, unless you think it will have collector's value in the future.

Your link didnt show anything, but yes it does seem comfirmed that new premium 360's are showing up with HDMI ports. No word on wether or not they have the new 65nm chips.

I'm excited. I'm waiting on a box to send my 360 back for repairs. Hopefully it comes back with a HDMI port and maybe the 65nm chip

They evidently deleted the other five pictures that were there.

But yeah, it has been confirmed in numerous places now.

This is a dumb question, but I am considering getting one. Can you delete and redownload the arcade games you paid for? On the Wii you only pay once and can delete and redownload for free if you need the space.

I would probably only get a few arcade games and then some demos, so I think the premium may be ok for me. The extra $100 for the elite wouldn't bankrupt me, but it'd be nice to save it since I'll already have to buy the wireless adapter and extra controller.

Yes, pay once and it's yours to delete and redownload.

I have a regular 360.... when I get an elite, I am still allowed to re-download the games onto the new system since i already payed for them? or is the game somehow tied into the system it was originally downloaded on?

Kind of unclear what you mean, but you can transfer your gamertag from an original XBox to a 360 - or from one 360 to another.
