I play 12 tables and almost never chat. There are many other players like me. We are not bots.

I'm not as uber-tight as that but there are many human-players who are.

If this player was at my tables and I noticed every single one of those things I would certainly not conclude that it's a bot.
It COULD be a bot of course. But you can say that about a lot of players.

If it played some 35 hour sessions or had really odd timing decisions then that would arouse more suspicion out of me.

Note though that there actually ARE bots out there and I don't believe I have noticed any of them even though I have certainly played with some.
For many bots I just don't think many of the human opponents are going to be able to tell one way or another because noticing things like, "he's tight...and he doesn't chat...and he plays 6 tables" isn't really that different from a LOT of human players.

it plays at NL100

I will analyze it today for a few hours and see if i can find certain timing and betting patterns. If so, then i will first steal all its money and then report it.

How many hands do you have on this suspected bot?

I run across this guy many times per session. Sometimes 3 or 4 of him per table.

At NL100 full-ring I would often times play 12 tables and never chat on any of them.
My preflop numbers would be pretty darned low.
There would be several players like me who would play this way.
No idea why you would single-out one of them to think it's a bot when such players seem to be all over the place.

Hello,
I have suspicions on a player, i think he/it is a bot. Why?

This is why:
1) no chat
2) 8.9% VPIP
3) 8% pfr
4) checks and folds everything when he is a blind
5) only seems to play the monsters and plays it uber agressive
6) multi tables 6 tables
7) no variation whatsoever, same betting patterns when he has monsters

I dont think a human can play this uber tight, this must be a grinding bot i suspect. Btw, the player is on Pokerstars.

Are these points enough for a reasonable doubt? What can i do to become sure this is a bot?

Btw, i will not post his username, in case that im wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

offense and everything, but you must be terrible at poker if u r worried about an 8% vpip 6 tabler who is willing to give you an extra bb 92% of the time.

hell even when he limps he'll give it to u on the flop 6/7 times.

That's a good example to follow for anyone who has suspicions but no solid evidence.

It's very easy for a human being to play this way. You just push the fold button a lot. People do many worse jobs for minimum wage. With practice you can keep just one eye on the screen while you do something else to pass the time.

BTW is he a shortstacker? That would explain a lot.

The best advice in this thread is to send your doubts to PokerStars and let them do their job. I very seriously doubt he is a bot but obviously it is possible.

yeah, instead of 'watching him more closely to check his timing-tells' or whatever just go ahead and send a note to Pokerstars support.
They receive e-mails with these kinds of accusations all the time and certainly have a better ability to look into this than you do.
They will also get back to you and reassure you that he is definitely not a bot so you can go back to playing your regular game...or they will thank you for helping them catch one.
