theres gonna be a lot more presure on the stacks between 3k-10k to get there stack size up to measure for the 4-5 way 'blind down' to limp into the seat situation. generally they're looking for one hand to double them up into getting a seat position.

id raise 3k because there more chance a 10k stack thinks he will get you to fold.

shoving stops people with 9k+ holding 99's, 10's, jj's , ak, aq shoving over the top of ya.

i dont take satalite situations into consideration till its down to 5 here. so many people i see lock up way before its time too.

Not really.

Ernest is a loose aggressive player. Before he pushed he said "3500, Why so much?" I explained to him that blinds were just up to 500/1000, he then announced all-in. In 0.1 seconds I thought he might have AA,KK when most LA live guys making that kinds of "Hollywood"... But I thought he might make the same move with JJ or AQ,AK. Anyway, only two seats awarded, I couldn't fold QQ. I almost insta-called. He said "I really don't want you to call, I'm afraid you suck out on me." and showed AA. That was it.

First, I suck at such mega super when all the actions are preflop; Second, I was close to 10K seat with only $430. I want to see what everyone else doing at this spot and post this hand here.

There is no way you can and should or even want to fold this hand you seriously can't fold a hand this strong this late with that much of your stack in there. I'm sorry he showed AKo and you lose the race and you now want to justify folding to find a better spot but take what you have. Old man is not folding JJ there PF that alone makes calling the right move. But I also think he shoves the less likely AQ and 10s and 9s and other junk cuz you yourself said he's laggy.

No. I'm too busy at work these days and I really like being busy at work.

I'll be lucky if I can find time play some of the weekday events at the Bike. This is also one of the reasons I hate taking bad beats since it's too hard for me to play a tournament, please give me some "normal" luck.
