PAGING ACTUAL GOD TO TELL US WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN IN S2 IF HE KNOWS.

This blows.

AG, please wait until after the finale on Sunday to respond to this request. Then do so immediately.

My sincere hope is that HBO brass pushes Milch into bringing back Deadwood.

Yes, please.

meh, wasn't this show pretty much doomed from the beginning? Seems to me that HBO did a horrible job figuring out who is an HBO subscriber, and how they would react to this show.

Exactly. Right from the first episode of this show, all I could think of was: "and this deserves to be on the air more so than Deadwood because...?"

I really liked this show but I really don't think they sold the kid being gone is a big deal very well. He's a surfer, skateboarder kid who runs around constantly. He's been gone for a few hours and everyone is freaked out about it. Yeah, his wetsuit is here, yeah, his board is still there. OMFG HE MUST HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED!!!

They just went through the exact same thing when he was at SeaWorld. I just didn't buy all of them protecting him, the urgency, etc. - weird messages or not.

With olyphant doing bill, stop loss and hitman, having just done live fre or die hard how are they going to get him to come back to deadwood even if they want to continue it? Especially with McShane doing death race/case 39 and having like 4 other movies in post production.

Every interview I've ever seen/heard with every cast member of Deadwood indicates to me that they would all drop whatever they were doing to get back to Deadwood.

They don't say it lightly, in that phony Hollywood sort of way. It's always with deep longing, like there is GENUINELY nothing they'd rather do than go back to work on Deadwood.

That's funny, as it was HBO who pushed Milch AWAY from Deadwood in the first place.

That sentence should read, "My sincere hope is that Milch pushes HBO brass into bringing back Deadwood."
