[/ QUOTE ] Well, aside from the problem that this cant be right because we know, given the OP, there is at least one person with this name (the schoolmate of the porn star), websites like these tend to get their results by multiplying the chances of a given first name by those of the last name, and then multiplying by the population of the country. This isnt an exact method, but is good at telling you there are a lot of John Smiths and not that many Syvette Wimberlys. However, it cant be used to confidently assess whether there is 1 or there are 5 Syvette Wimberlys, which, IIRC, is the breaking point. (note: that is the breaking point for typical TV use, and not pornagraphic use; whether that changes things, Im not sure.)

She's a pornstar. She probably doesn't think there's anything wrong with being a pornstar. So is it libel? If a respected professional actor took the girl's name would she be offended? An author? Just because she finds being a pornstar offensive doesn't mean everybody else does.

The burden is on the plaintiff to prove that there actually was malicious intent.
