Just go straight to the five blade with extraneous 6th blade and vibrating function.

Basically do the opposite of what this dude says.

Yea, buy overpriced [censored] that you don't need, when it will likely irritate your skin even more, excellent idea.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you irritate your skin more with a multi-blade than you do with a single blade disposable you are most likely at least half retarded.

Some people would disagree, but whatever that post had no point anyway so I deleted it. In short the blades after the first can push the hair underneath the skin which causes the very problem OP is complaining about. To the majority of people it's not going to make a difference but if he's already having problems there are better choices.

This razor owns. Best one on the market, IMO. If you want to stop shave bumps, you're going to need to get a better razor and get much better at shaving. Its going to cost a little more, but what's an investment in yourself? I'll NEVER use one of those "100 disposable razors for 4.99" things.

Wash face with hot water before shave

Apply preshave oil

Apply shaving cream

Shave with a good 3-5 blade sharp razor using downward strokes

Apply shaving cream again

Shave with a good 3-5 blade sharp razor using upward strokes

Rinse face with cold water

Apply aftershave balm

^ That's exactly what I do, minus the preshave oil. I've never had a problem with the bumps.
