this is not a bad beat

Nit.

In my eyes losing with AA to 10 4 is a bad beat no matter what. But that's not the point of my post.

The point is that I get a sick enjoyment out of watching Gordon's face when he loses that pot.

so is it a bad beat if AA limps in during a full table and 8 people see the flop of 10-10-4..the BB has 10-4...everyone checks to the guy with aces and he bets...the BB min raises him...the guy with aces reraises...10-4 pushes...and aces calls as a huge dog??

is that still a bad beat??

according to your donk logic it is

I thought it was some unwritten rule that any thread that contains "Phil Gordon" and "video" has to have a link to the Chicken Selects video. I'm so lost now.

Do you think of this as a bad beat, an open end st8 draw with two cards to come?

I only think of the 1, 2 or maybe 3 outer as a bad beat.

Thank you! The term 'bad beat' is beyond over used.

You must have cateracts. If a thread topic is titled, "Phil Gordon bad beat," expect some comments related to whether it is truly a bad beat.

Since we are on the topic of the hand -- would any of you actually lay down AA when Gavin puts Phil all-in on the flop? The flop was pretty draw-heavy.

Get it in there on a little better than a coin-flip, for your entire tournament life? or wait for a better spot?
