Checking behind lets him get there for free, which seems criminal. I'd bet ~$2k. [/ QUOTE ] Seems to me it's very reasonable to call with some flushes on this flop. (Specifically ones that don't have an A or a straight draw.) It looks a lot like OP has a big overpair, a flush draw, or a set, so I think instapushing with these stacks may be a mistake. |

I'm assuming you're not worried about being beat and primarily trying to figure out how to maximize value here, but there's just way too many bad cards that can beat you/make it totally impossible to get another bet on the river so I'd bet the turn for like two-thirds pot and hope he plays along. i agree with what blueman says that it looks like AA-QQ. and checking will easily make him think he has the best hand also if hes trapping with the nuts your not putting more money in
