[ QUOTE ] great post and all, but seriously, who cares? this is why i get there early and sit at the end of a row, let all these droolers figure it out between themselves [/ QUOTE ] wtf getting there early is a total waste if you dont take the middle seats. [/ QUOTE ] i prefer to be right on the aisle so i can piss, get a refill, etc. also so i can bolt at the end of the movie. |

[/ QUOTE ] piss beforehand ftw? getting a refill on popcorn due to it all spilling on the floor because of the awesome handjob you got by pulling the dick-through-the-hole-in-the-bottom-of-the-popcorn-tub trick is totally legit tho. |

Re: Movie Theatre Seating Etiquette (with diagram)
i piss a lot because i am basically a girl. also i drink like two gallons of water a day. you get good at timing it during the boring parts, like when people are talking instead of shooting each other.

Re: Movie Theatre Seating Etiquette (with diagram)
The expert move in this situation is not to leave buffer seats of an odd number like three or one. Groups of two or four or more are much more common than three.

Re: Movie Theatre Seating Etiquette (with diagram)
IDK man, me and my buds do this tactic all the time.
We dont reserve though. We make it look as if we are reserving. In reality, we just want 1 space buffers btwn us, and we know ppl are hesitant to sit in btwn, so usually it works out perfectly. IMO if they were actually reserving, and not exploiting like us, then you are being nitty. |

Re: Movie Theatre Seating Etiquette (with diagram)
Yes, I realize this is nowhere near as life shattering a problem as cell phones on trains or people driving in the emergency lane.
However, this DID inconvenience us. It cost us our empty seat buffers. If these guys has reserved their seats properly, we would have had a 1 seat buffer on each side of us. Single seats are very unattractive and only get taken as a last resort - If the theater gets full. So we almost certainly would have kept an empty seat on both sides of us. Instead, we had the couple sit to our right AND we had to shift over to the left and into our other buffer seat to give them roomt. If that had only been a single open seat, it's unlikely they would have tried to sit there, they would have sat somewhere else first. |
