1/2, he either has quads or he doesn't.

But like the drizzle said, because it happens twice, it's 2/2 making it 100%.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok i'll re-phrase my question. What are the odds of someone hitting quads twice in sucession?

[/ QUOTE ]

apparently 100% LDO

[/ QUOTE ]

wrong!

Can't go wrong with googling:-

The odds of hitting Quads? 624 to 1. The odds of doing it twice in a row?
624*624= 389376 to 1!

[/ QUOTE ]

WRONG

its 1 in 4165

so 4165^2 = 17347225:1

or 100% obv

[/ QUOTE ]

I knew something was up about the first number, because I was thinkin this has never happened to me and I've played way more than 300k hands, but 17 mill sounds about right... and I run bad at life so it could be way longer than that even

Do you mean on the river? I've got a full house, the only thing I thought he could beat me with was a bigger pocket pair. You never fold believing he has quads.

Who made up that rule? Heh. That's probably good advice when the board only has a pair on it (and you aren't really, really deep). But if they just need one card to beat you? I can imagine situations where you can find a fold.

Also, you have a really [censored] full house and almost any pocket pair or 7x hand beats you. All you beat is a bluff here.
