Hey guys gotta few hands from my game Saturday. We normally play $20 buy-ins and $20,000 in chips with the blinds at 100-200 and 25 min. blinds. This night though it was a $50 buy in with 35,000 and 30min. blinds We have played to get for a few years and I'm pretty good at reading the guys. Ok here we go, Start with 35,000, and I ran into some bad luck and at the time of this hand I was at $20,000. 1st hand
200-400 blinds im in the BB with 84 Diamonds.It folded to the small blind doubles the blind so I call since I will have position. By the way the SB is very aggressive, almost too aggressive. So the flop comes QQ7, 2 diamonds. He checks as do I, turn is a blank, he bets 800 so I call with the odds there, I hit and he checks, so I overbet and put in 2000, he then raises it 8000 more. What would you guys do in this spot. By the way the 8000 was almost half my stack.

Well, what was your read?

If it were me, I'd be guessing he has AQ, but I would fold - can't take that chance. This is a tourney, and survival is everything. That $2k bet told you all you needed to know.
