Re: Starting at the bottom. $2NL 6-max at PokerStars.
I've actually played these games, just for fun. What really struck me is that
1) People give c-bets unholy respect compared to higher levels 2) They never adjust So start playing 25/20 and firing every flop after you raise. |

[ QUOTE ]
Now I limp any broadway combo (that's JT+) from any position? [/ QUOTE ]This is really bad. Don't limp broadways, I raise suited broadways utg+1, raise all of them in the CO and button and fold all except AK and KQ utg. [ QUOTE ] I'm limping the button with SCs down to 87s [/ QUOTE ] Again this is horrible, you should be raising suited connectors not limping in 6 max. [ QUOTE ] About 2k hands ago I was told that my PFR is poor so now I'm raising AQ from anywhere, AJ from from MP, CO, and BTN. Raising TT+ from anywhere. Raising 99 from BTN, as well as any broadway King or Ace, and QJs. I'm all in with QQ+, and not AK unless I know the guy is a maniac. [/ QUOTE ]You can raise any pair, only raising TT+ in 6 max is a huge leak. Your preflop raise should be at least 12%, preferably 15%+, post flop play is more important because your often 250bb deep but you're definitely not raising enough. I actually agree with Jamougha in that a 25/20 style actually works incredibly well at these levels but that'll take some getting used too, so 20/15 is fine too. |

Re: Starting at the bottom. $2NL 6-max at PokerStars.
seriously - $2NL on UB is the tightest game on the internets.
these guys make ridiculous folds. ex 1: i raise on button w/ A8, BB calls. Flop is A 8 3 BB checks, I pot, BB calls Turn is some insignificant card. i 3/4 pot, BB open folds AQ. I've had like 4 or 5 of these type of things happen to me so I unbelievably started adjusting to be more LOOSE in these games. |
