If he would of done it at any other casino where the offer European roulette with single 0 the house edge is reduced to 2.70% This guy = schmuck [/ QUOTE ] He was originally going to do it at one casino, but the casino refused to remove the 0 and 00, so they moved it to a casino which agreed 0 and 00 would be a re-roll.

I can'tpull the clip up but I'm guessing this is the onewhere the guy sells everything he owns for like 170k and puts it on one spin of the roulette wheel. Obv it was a big publicity stunt/TV show set up.
Also, regarding american roulette vs european, most euro casinos also have the "en prison" rule, which chops the house edge to under 1.5%. I'm guessing the production company wanted it done in the US though.
