villain had been active, just lost a big pot, and def wasn't playing like a rock, so I gave him a wider range than I would usually do and would think I'm ahead of this range

thnx guys, really appreciate the insights

fwiw, I think mj's 2nd tighter range would fit villain's range nicely

I've been messing around with pokerstove as well and I do believe pushing is +EV, I'm only concerned that it might be a bit too marginal

I'm still not sure, but I think I'd prefer waiting for a better spot bc I want to avoid coinflips for all my chips as long as possible

I think it's pretty marginal. You're only a flip against his range and the overlay isn't huge. Had you been able to squeeze here it would be perfect.

That said, this is a +EV jam, so do it 90% of the time.
