I think if Lebron played since he was 4, Tiger wouldn't even compare.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then you're an idiot.

People who are truly great at a sport are born to excel at that sport. Micheal Jordan was born to be great at basketball, Tiger Woods was born to be great at golf. Most great athletes are really good at other sports but they can only be really great at one sport.

I hate it when people say now that Tiger would be a great QB or Safety or some other position in football. He'd probably be mediocre and would be wasting his talent.

Nicklaus for example excelled as a youth in basketball, football and baseball. I think he was even shortly on the Ohio St basketball team as a guard. He loved basketball too, but he would never be great at it, he was great at golf though. I've even heard Jack tell a story where they lived near Woody Hayes so him and his Dad asked Woody what path Jack should take. Paraphrasing, Woody said "He could be good at other sports, but he can be great at golf. He should concentrate on that."

You are comparing the athletic talent and physical gifts of someone like Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson to Jack Nicklaus? Think about their height, power, and speed with proper instruction at a young age

are you serious? Leverage and swing speed has nothing to do with the golf swing?

leverage and swing speed have a lot to do with the golf swing. Not height and speed.
