Does anyone else like getting it in on the flop here? I feel a villan with an AF of 3 is defintely capable of raising FD's. We also have equity against overpairs. Are we essentially "slowplaying" the flop?

yeah i think we get more value out of letting him bluff again, or at least get one more street of value out of his midpair then just getting it in on the flop

i would 3-bet flop, cuzz he might shove a FD, in which case he's drawing very very bad
as played, checking turn might be best, esp. if there is no history
