I agree with lapoker. I'm almost always c-betting any A high flop with my entire range, so when I hit I also bet it.

The point of betting is to just take the pot down, and there is a lot of value in that. Yes, worse hands are rarely calling, other than the odd 9. But with your current hand there is very little value to extract, as you can't really be happy if more than one bet goes in the pot. Also, by checking it becomes obvious what you have, and this villain will rarely bluff. Instead you're just giving him a freecard to a gutshot or pocket pair some of the time but gaining nothing in return. Add to this balancing requirements and its a clear bet.

Checking only becomes a viable line if you're worried villain will be bluff-raising or floating-with-air-making-a move-later this flop a significant portion of the time and you're worried about not being able to get to showdown.

wow - you really need to be betting this a lot - with your entire range. if you are chk calling w Axs then what are you doing w JT? 33? KQ? AK, AAA? i think anything but betting here with everything nearly always is bad. this is a great flop.

this is all of course in a vacuum - with history/reads there are times to do other stuff but as a default betting has to be it.

yea this is spot on. if you arent betting your entire range here except real strong hands and bluffs, youre going to be exploited. this is such an easy bet w/Ax hands, basically any hand really.

why would u check-call here w/Ax ......what other hands if ANY are u c-calling in this spot??

still cbet flop and call flop raise once since often it's bluff; fold to later aggression

I check call this. People don't really fire two barrels with worse IMO. if u c-bet u are usually only getting called by better or if villain is a donk.

(I play different than most people...)

I check call here a lot, which I also do a lot with KK and QQ. I raise sometimes too, depends on image. I raise 100% if my kicker is higher obv. The lower the kicker the more i prefer check/call.

I don't get those people who check call here, unless you are playing against complete morons who aren't paying attention. This is a perfect board to cbet, I bet here 100% if I have air. Some people might notice if you start check calling with all medium strength hands you want to take to showdown.

Edit: Basically what lapoker said I guess.
