Re: AK laydown preflop...long run +ev?
[ QUOTE ]
I was kind of kicking myself for not pushing. The MP is def calling there if I do which we're off to the races. I also have a small feeling that even if I did push that the lagtard UTG might just have called off with the 55 due to pot size and with him having us covered. Just wondering if Im leaving alot on the table in long run by not pushing here. Thanks again for input guys. [/ QUOTE ] If you think UTG might call your push with 55 or anything close then the AK is an easy shove, right? Not only might MP get scared off, say, JJ by the two all ins, but if you wind up in a 3 way all in pot and both players have underpairs you're in great shape (and okay with the situation if you wind up against AQ and JJ or something like that). |

Re: AK laydown preflop...long run +ev?
laying down AK 3-handed because someone that you have played ten hands with 3bet a bad lag is terrible, that's all there is to it

Re: AK laydown preflop...long run +ev?
It wasn't 3 handed. It was a full table with 10 players. Why do you assume it was 3 handed. Of course if it was 3 handed I woulda insta shoved...
