It says 'metaphysical' in various song books I've used in playing guitar over the years, I just looked it up on the first lyric site I could find to show some proof.

FWIW I always thought it was "pataphysical" too, AND lyrics sites are not the last word. I've seen plenty of errors on them, the only consistency being that seemingly every lyric site in the world must have [censored] pop-ups on it. Which makes me glad I use Firefox.

Anyway, the discussion about Joan's studies are moot, since not long after that Maxwell's Silver Hammer came down upon her head, and it made sure that she was dead.

Oh agree about the lyrics sites not being great. But it sounds like metaphysical, and as I say, various guitar/lyrics books I've used always say 'metaphysical'

EDIT: LOL! Just listened to the track, it does indeed say 'pataphysical' - nice one Dude! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
