What's the difference in football and dog fighting?

In one pursuit, you train the participants to fight and be aggressive, you inject them full of steroids and uppers and painkillers and you set them fighting. If a participant is too injured or lacks the needed aggression to fight, you cast them aside, with no way for them to provide for themselves, often unfit and unprepared for a normal life.

In the other pursuit, two dogs fight each other.

LOL. Yeah, sure. Poor Pro athletes. Except the football player gets paid an outrageous amount for doing something most of them love to do, and has a choice whether to engage in such a pursuit.
