have had trouble with them not just this issue, my whole relationship with dell (business) has been extremely poor.

I have ordered 2 computers with both crashed frequently, they very poorly attempted to fix it and after a month decided to swap them. They got swapped and had a couple of specifications that were not correct. This computer would make weird noises, was very slow, sometimes not even reach the desktop.

I now order a computer sometime late June, it was supposed to be delivered 6th July, then 13th July, then 19th July and now 25th July. I asked for a percentage certainty and they said they couldn't tell me, I asked if it may be a year, they said they couldn't tell me. The customer care representative was not very helpful and when I questioned her regarding some issues she told me I was being very rude when in fact I was just stern and to the point.

No real problems ever with Dell, lots of orders. Compared with other companies, they've been absolutely top-notch.

I concur with secretprankster. 2 desktops, 2 laptops, all less than 2 years old -- not one problem.

I have had awesome experience with dell over the last two years fixing my inspiron 9300 (the fact that i've had nearly every component replaced twice is actually a non issue because they come to my door and fix it so promptly no matter where I am in the world).

Best thing I ever did was pay for an extended warranty.
