Results:

I thought about it for 10 seconds, and just called feeling rather sissyish. He proudly tables JJ and I take the pot. A few of the players at the table looked at me like i was insane and one berated me for not raising.

Start by betting the flop

I'm betting the flop 90% of the time here and slowplaying 10%. Is this terrible or should I always be betting here?

The only thing you should always do in poker is raise with the nuts when you're closing the action on the river. But generally speaking, slowplaying is leaving money on the table more often than not; this time it's close on the flop simply because trip aces are such an obvious hand.

Given your read, your river play was correct.

A flop check here is all right. This seems like one of those spots(I guess because of the field) where a 4 would fold.

Your hand is also basically invincible.

I suppose you could fold,

If he showed me his cards and I saw AJ, I may still call assuming that one time out of 20 my eyes decieve me

Flop check worked out well, but there's a lot of risk of checking around at a passive table...bet it.

I probably raise this river if 5 is a cap.

Grunch

Call the river and lose to AJ.

I believe you were already beaten on the flop. When an LP raises, they mean business. I'm like to just call the flop raise and not 3 bet if that's my read. I'll call down UI.

LPs don't raise hands like AJ as much as we do. Especially this guy since he won't even raise KK in the blinds. You caught up on the turn and then he redrew on you at the river.

I call PF and bet the flop. Fastplaying is the new slowplaying.
