Re: Multitabling and sitting out: ethic?
I dont see why you would expect any opponent to help you out like that, maybe someone you actually know and talk or something. I'll gladly steal anyones blinds as fast as possible is their sitting out tho.

Re: Multitabling and sitting out: ethic?
[ QUOTE ]
no, you play a lot together and you are here to learn and improve and exploit the fish and how to take money from each other. we're not here to make friends who we softplay. and yes, this would basically be softplaying, if you wouldn't expect the same to be done for some random fish. even if you would expect the same to be done for the fish, it's your problem, not the other guy's. there's nothing in the rules saying you have to be "nice." [/ QUOTE ] Citanul, confusing softplaying with telling someone who is sitting out is something that I would not expect from you. And by the way, if I play with a dude on few tables it is irrelevant to me whether he is a 2+2er or not, I will just tell him, I am probably too nice. And above all we all know the rules do not ask people to be nice, this is the whole point of my thread. |

Re: Multitabling and sitting out: ethic?
ummmm. Ive had this debate with myself. Pretty much, I think its to the multitabler to keep track of his tables. Unless your some kind of friends, its your fault for multitabling more tables then you can handle.
I've decided against saying anything. |

Re: Multitabling and sitting out: ethic?
luis,
if i notice someone sitting out, i tell them. however expecting any sort of niceness from an opponent specifically because they are 2p2 is saying you expect softplay. i am pretty happy with my answer to your question, which was "am i wrong to expect this person to inform me?" yes, you are. i'm gonna lock this up now. |
