Re: Squeeze deep in 180
shocker thats not the point the no one is showin any agg in this hand and there is alot of dead money in the pot. Most of the time this is gonna work bc no ONE SHOULD LIMP 10 10 on the button in an unraised pot.

Re: Squeeze deep in 180
Seeing as the the cards are irrelevant I like this play (read based).
I'm in the minority here but I hate pushing with small pairs at any time. |

this is a little on the aggressive side what happened to playing small pairs for set value. you are a dog or 50 50 against overcards. Do u think you have fold equity in a 180 person donkament? [/ QUOTE ] Please. |

Button was obviously waiting for you to squeeze. Never do it again. Barry [/ QUOTE ] I know you think I'm being results orientated, but I just wanted to see what the views were on making this kind of move in the 180's. I thought it was the right play. |

[/ QUOTE ] check the hand - button called a 3000 raise - did not limp __________________________________________________ ________ i think the squeeze was basically good - the main problem is that most players just play to bad that this moves works - so i would only try this one if i saw the 2 villains having no problem laying down good hand. |

Re: Squeeze deep in 180
good push if it were a different tournament but i'd try and stay away from plays like this in a 180 cuz ppl don't have fold buttons, but the idea was a good one

Re: Squeeze deep in 180
A lot of people in these tournaments don't have a fold button early or in mid game; however, later on, you can expect slightly better opponents who are trying to make the money and don't want to waste 2 hours of their time for "nothing." So, while in this case, button was afraid to push but not afraid to call with 1010 because he's a retarted vag, a very good percentage of the time, he is going to be calling a CO raise with AQ, AJo, A10, KJ, KQ, K10s, 66-99, and WILL fold a good range of these hands in this spot late to a 3-bet under the "no way SB is pushing late without a better hand than mine" theory. And, in those instances, you're squeeze will work. You are getting good overlay for a push here against AQ or a loosely called AJo, which is also fine at this stage in the tournament.
