79 and J9 are possibilities that King is fairly big scare card in a three way pot. QT or KJ, K9 are definitely possible for me or mp3. I think it is much more likely that he c/c the turn with two pair than he c/rs the river for incredibly thin value when a flush hits also considering his range of better hands is exclusively air and 9T is a pretty narrow range for me to put him on.

FWIW, I was just saying his line makes a lot of sense for T9. I agree it's proper not to overplay J9 or K9, but even in higher tourneys, I've seen it done all the time, and rarely played that passively.

I cant logically see one hand that villain would play like this that has you beat. Two pair hands seem like they would bet the turn and if he flopped a set of sevens he would definitely be tthe turn. And if he has spades, well what was he betting with on the flop? A7 spades? Seems unlikely into that board and two opponents. If hes bad i could see him doing this with A9, but even that seems like a stretch
THis seems like it could be busted diamonds a lot. MAybe he c/c the turn with like 97, or j9, but that seems unlikely. And even then is he really that confident that you were going to bet that river?. I think I definitely call down here |

This looks like a bluff to me. If anything, he believes that given the scariness of the last card, if you're betting, you're betting to buy the pot and therefore he's going to buy it back with a raise. If he has a flush, why would he check the river? He just check/called the turn and a 3rd flush card came on the river, checking a flush there seems ridiculous. I think him checking a boat makes virtually no sense either, given the scariness of the river card and the likelihood that you're going to check behind. Call. Or shove, and try to get him to think you have a bigger boat than him just in case he has one (just kidding on that one).
