Yah, I stoved it myself and such and I see the odds like I said, but what I'm saying is I feel like it's AK relatively less often than the pairs, and the AK comprises a smaller portion of the range. I also feel like I see guys that 3bet like crazy but almost never get it all in preflop without the goods (since many people just wilt to their 3bet storm and only play back with huge pairs in the hole).

If we were sitting 125BB? 150BB?

of course it's AK less often than the pairs. There are 16 combos of AK and 24 of JJ+. Ww still have odds to call very profitably.

For someone who 3-bets so much AK is definitely the goods.

I would shove preflop to avoid the gayness that ensues when he decides to just smoothcall your 4 bet.

Okay, I'm coming across as retarded lol

I guess what I'm asking is, will someone who 3bets frequently ever fold AK to a 4bet?

I realize it sounds a bit silly, but it seems like there are players out there who 3bet certain opponents to death, and the only time those opponenents ever 4bet back at them (as opposed to just calling the 3bet) is with a super tight range of QQ+. Given this, if you've been abusing someone forever with 3bets, and they finally decide to 4bet back at you, is AK still an autoshove? Is it still an autoshove against a supernit?

(i'm not saying OP is a supernit btw, this is hypothetical now)

So, if AK folds sometimes, it makes big pairs more prominent in his pushing range, decreasing our equity, etc.

I think villain would be absolutely crazy not to push AK with his huge 3betting range.

I don't think so. Yes, quite a while back people would and it was ridiculous. 4-betting light was like a cheat code all the way up to 5/10 lol. Not now. This guy loves to put chips in the pot.
