You can't give off reverse tells with sunglasses. I've found that's usually more valuable than preventing giving off true tells when playing live.

think of it this way, they don't wear sunglasses in the big game in Bobby's room. And if you didn't know it, Phil Helmuth (who was born with sunglasses on) doesn't ever play in the big game.

non of the top pros in the world wear sunglasses. Pros like ivey, forest, greenstein, reese, brunson, harmen, etc.

Interesting. It's kind of the other way for me. When I DON'T wear sunglasses my eyes get tired and I can't quite play as long. There is often a bit of a breeze in the casino I play at which dries my eyes out. On top of that my eyes are really sensitive too so sunglasses help. Plus you can watch players w/out them knowing, which others have mentioned.

I've been playing for 16 years-probably only 3 professionally-and have worn them all the time. I play $5-10nl now, but yeah I was one of those dorks wearing them at $5-10 limit and even $1-2nl. I didn't care too much as I was scooping up everyone else's chips.
