Do your students also get the inflated sense of self-worth included?

they learn to "appreciate themselves" and "be confident in their decisions" while occasionally learning that some other players are "less competent" than people aejones coaches

I think I could do that without any help =/

So is that your actual price Aejones? Or in that ballpark? Just mulling around ideas at the moment, but you got game and I need game.

Before you go spending 300 or whatever on ae, you might want to grind some more and get a bigger roll.

yea dude i don't recommend myself until you have a 20k roll or whatever, i do charge over 300, but i would probably recommend some people here (I don't want to name names) but from what i know there are some good players that are decent or standard that i think do coaching. invest in someone for 150 or something at most and even if you just get two hours, have questions and hands read and ask them to discuss strategy and there is almost a guarantee you will learn something that you didnt know.

i actually heard TWP is back coaching, he's charging half of his hourly rate...

so he'll pay YOU 150/hr to get coached

I can vouch for this.

From my experience coaching I would say it's more valuable to pay someone to let you sweat them while they explain why they are doing what they do than to have them critique your play. You get a much better feel for how someone else approaches the game in general and how they make different moves based on their image and the flow rather than them telling you lots of specific nitpicky stuff that you may be doing wrong like "hm prob fold 76o to that 3-bet."

i was gonna suggest what cts just said because personally i like watching good players play and learn from what they do rather than just have them pick out [censored] while you are playing. sometimes you dont get [censored] while you are getting coached and its boring for both people imo.

So, just stick with watching GP and BT on cardrunners

Honestly, there is a great risk in getting the wrong coach.
I got a bunch of lessons at the beginning of the year, when I already was an established 2/4 player with a 7 PTBB winrate on 200+K hands.
Meanwhile I dropped down to 1/2 and am still struggling to get my old game back.
So, if you are heading for a coach, look for the best ones, no matter how much more they charge.
