If you really average 95 playing strict rules I think you win. If you are like most people who say they normally shoot 95 but actually average 100-105 then you are toast.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope, strict 95. Play bogey golf with a few crap holes sprinkled in because of my putting/chipping. I used to work on a golf course and when I was playing everyday I was in the low to mid 80's. Low round is 77. I dont play very much anymore.

EVERY SHOT TWICE

Come on dude. Scramble on a course that is 20% shorter. OP could win this bet with 8 clubs.

I shoot around 90 and I'm fairly confident I'd shoot no worse than even and as low as 65 using this format. I mean you should have a wedge into every hole and two looks at every putt. No way you should lose this match.

LOL at 65! You have no idea how hard it is to shoot 65 regardless of how many balls you play.

I'd take any true 18 handicap up on this bet for whatever they wanted to play for.

And your handicap is?

I have my worst case score being even. I think its more likely that I end up in the 2-4 under range.

I don't. Hitting two puts makes my chances of 3 putting to almost 0. I am not that bad where being able to scramble my puts wouldnt make a HUGE improvment on my puts per round.

Oops. I somehow missed the 2 shot scramble deal, including putting!? Can I get 3:1 odds on your opponent? Or is it too late?

You should go to the course and play from the ladies tees/scramble your shots and see how you do.

Him, 6 and 5

WHAT THE [censored]

Dude gets to play a course 1500 yards shorter and hit every shot twice. How the hell could he lose 6 and 5. He might not even lose 6 and 5 playing straight up from the same tees.

[/ QUOTE ]

He doesn't have a handicap, but says he shoots "in the 95 range". I'm going to guess that he really shoots 100+. He claims his short game is weak, which means it's terrible.

I'm going to guess that he'll lose every par 5 and par 3 and dominate the par 4's.
