Re: Heads-Up PLO Material
Yes. Anytime I play someone heads up and they fold more than 30% of their hands from the SB or if they complete and fold to my raise they get a note as a nitty weak player no matter what.
OTOH, any player that consistently reraises me with weakish pairs ([censored] like QQ34ss) in or OOP and stacks off too often gets noted as a huge donator. It's hard to find a balance HU! |

It's hard to find a balance HU! [/ QUOTE ] Anyone who is able to make "big" laydowns when there's a lot of money in the middle and is reraised or even 3 bet, is probably very dangerous. These are the players that are probably setting up plays, etc. So that when all the money does go in the middle, they will have the goods. |

Re: Heads-Up PLO Material
I play HU PLO all by feel nowadays. It's incredibly opponent dependent and you can't really say there is any rules of thumb... except one metagame rule I've learned to keep:
Be aggressive, but don't turn the game into a push fest. Push fests are fun and all, but the variance gets so high the game becomes worthless. |
