Re: Small River Decision v Robert Mizrachi
I think folding and raising are both better options than calling. This would be such a wierd bet size to be a bluff, and I don't think he's value betting anything <44. I think fold though because he might just look you up if you raise since your line would look so fishy.

Re: Small River Decision v Robert Mizrachi
Call and berate is my standard line.
Dear god don't raise this river, no1 will ever believe you after checking the turn on this board. |

Re: Small River Decision v Robert Mizrachi
If the river didn't pair, I would be faster to call. With the Q on the turn and your check he is value betting his 9. He's no longer worried about his kicker. He shows 8 9, etc...

Agreed that knowing it's Mizrachi makes it a fold because he's capable of betting medium-strength hands for value here. Not knowing it was him, however, I called, because random unknown WSOP players have very polarized river ranged. I felt to bet the river for value a lot of unknowns would need at least a Q (unlikely since that didn't come until turn) or a deuce (which is usually folded to my preflop raise), and thus that I'd see a bluff here maybe a third of the time. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] sounds good |

I think a lot of randoms just sort of autobet their medium strength hands after you "show weakness" on the turn because lots of them aren't thinking about value betting or bluffing, they're just betting when they think their hand is good. |

Re: Small River Decision v Robert Mizrachi
Is he really bet/calling medium strength hands on this river?
I can't see him calling with 9X if we raise river |
