Did I really just tilt away my whole bankroll?
Holy Moly I thought I finally had a handle on the game...
I've been playing for like a year now, more or less learning the game. I blew like a few hundred on 'Party' before i even knew what I was doing, but eventually ended up cashing out prolly 2k in total. But I didn't really understand about br management, & would only keep like $100 - $150 on there & try to play $30+3 MTT's. but I would cash like damn near every time (but not majorly), & I luckily won one, worth nearly a grand i think, & cashed it straight out LOL, cuz I was DEAD broke... & now a couple of months ago I discovered Full Tilt (bear in mind I'm in Aus, & I don't know a SINGLE person who plays poker, & everybody thinks I'm stupid for trying. So I chucked $50 on there & played a $50nl game & busted, after gettin like $180 worth of chips in front of me... Ok, I finally realized I needed to somehow MANAGE my br! So I put another $50 on there, & played $10nl (.05/.10). & now I was doing great. I was playing great agressive poker like the chips didn't matter cuz you feel so secure with only a tiny portion of your br on the table. I grinded my way to about $300, & moved up to $25, & turned that into ~$550. This is where things get a little hazy. I decided to move up to $50nl, & played for about a week, getting my br to over $700, before going busto in about 2 & a half hours. I should make it a BBV... Beat: I'm probably duluded & I'm definately busto atm Brag: I'm way new to poker & I've made a little money, & now I'm 110% determined that I want to learn & improve & turn $50 into 10k on Full Tilt <--- seriously my reason for being IMO =D Variance: insane tilt? |
